Joyeux Noel for Berry71 Bleu December Challenge

Hello fellow scappy friends, I'm here with my layout for the Berry71bleu December challenge. This month moodboard is created by Denise van Deventer. I just love it!

My project this month features products from several of our sponsors over the year, gorgeous 7 Dots Studio Yuletide papers, stamps, tags and stickers, the stunning Out of this World Frame from Creative Embellishments and amazing glittery Blue Fern Embossing Powder

I just love the tags and stickers in the Yuletide collection! I layered lots and lots of tags adding some fun hearts and stars and words into the mix.

You can  see all the layers here and some gorgeous Christmasy flowers from my stash! I just love the frame from Creative Embellishments!

I chose a wintery Christmasy vintage image I had already printed as my focal photo. Here you can how the light catches the glittery embossing powder from Blue Fern Studios  I added some texture paste circles to the background to imitate snow and added some stamping of stars and the word merry to add to the background textures. I finally finished off with some brown and red splashes!

I hope you like my layout and thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you will join us this month for a chance to win some amazing prizes!

Christmas Ornaments with Christmas Cosy

I had a great time making these cards this week. I decided to make them do double duty and they are also ornaments for the tree.  They are all using the gorgeous collection Christmas Cosy!

Here you can see my first two cards. I used some decorative die shapes by Spellbinders to make my ornament shapes, then cut out images from the collection as my focal points. The paper I used for my card base is the gorgeous Christmas Cosy Sparrow paper.  I used the gorgeous Riddersholm Glitter Glass in red to decorate one of my ornaments!  I added some flowers from my stash and some twine and pearl strings to decorate!

These next set of cards also feature decorative die shapes cut out from the beautiful Christmas Cosy Starry paper and gorgeous cut out images from the collection. The base papers are Christmas Cosy On His Way. I have added gorgeous flowers and twine bows again and even a little pine cone!

My secret for the temporary adhesive for the ornaments to my cards is this: blue tack!

I really love making paper ornaments and I hope that you like them!
Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Christmas Cosy Cards for Riddersholm Designs

This week I'd love to share three cards I have made using the gorgeous Christmas Cosy collection! For all my cards I have used the beautiful blue paper "Deer" as the base. I love the combination of blue and red this year for Christmas! The images are gorgeous vintage images from the Cosy Cutout sheet.

For my first card I used the gorgeous wintry scene image that has holly accents. I decided to used some glittery holly leaves from my stash as well as some pine cone and berry stems. I added some gorgeous glittery Petaloo flowers and a bit of twine loops for extra detail.

For my next card I again used a cutout image. I layered it over a doily and adde added some gorgeous flowers and twine loops from my stash.

For my final card I used a cut out image layered over some lacy webbing and paper and have added a gorgeous Prima leaf and some flower and lace from my stash. I added the snowy butterfly from Reneabouquets and finished the card with some twine.

I added Festive Berries Distress Ink around the edges of all my cards. I really enjoyed using this modern Christmas combo of blue and red and I thank you for stopping by!!
